College Hostels

There are two Hostels for the students of the College known as the D K College boys' hostel and D K College Ladies' Hostel. In the Boys' Hostel there is an accommodation for 57 students and in the Ladies Hostel there is an  accommodation for 34 students. The Principal is the final authority in all matters relating to the Hostel. Ordinarily, he/she exercises his/her control and supervision through the superintendent who is in-charge of the day-to-day administration of the Hostel. ( From the Session 2009-10 the Boys' Hostel is closed for major repairing works.)

HOSTEL CHARGES (LADIES)
Hostel charges are payable at the time of admission in the college counter.
Fees for the Ladies Hostel :

All Hostel Charges should be paid in Hostel Office on or before the 15th of every month failing which the meals of the defaulting boarders will be stopped. On production of the Hostel receipt in support of the monthly payment, tution fee shall be accepted from the boarders in the college office.

The session from June to May is divided in to two terms. 1st June to November, 2nd term-December to May - A student getting admitted in to the Hostel in any term have to pay establishment charges from the beginning of the term. A boarder leaving the Hostel in any term will have to pay establishment charges upto the end of the term.

Boarder (s) sent up for Council and university Examination will have to pay hostel dues upto the end of the Session before they fill up their forms failing which they will not be allowed to fill up forms. monthly mess charges may be changed during the session depending on the market price of the time.
