Enrolment : A total number of fifty students are to be enrolled for N.S.S. from this College unit. There are three units existing in the college, two for the boys and one for the girls. AIMS of N.C.C. :- To promote national consciousness and a sense of social resonsibility and to inculcate discipline and a sense of dignity of labour among students. The normal duty of stduents enrolled for N.S.S. shall be to undertake the projects assigned to them on sundays and other holidays. Altogether 25 such days will be utilised and students shall wok for 6 hours a day. This will come upto 150 hours for each student during the term. Besides the N.S.S., students will participate in camps where they will stay for about twenty days. This will enable the students to experience community life. At the end of the session certificate will be issued to students on the basis of satisfactory performance. The College also has its Scout and Guide unit in operation. |
